The 37th Annual Minnesota State Sale was held at the Olmstead County Fairgrounds, Rochester, MN on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010. The weekend activities included the annual MSA meeting, poolside social and banquet including the Jr/Sr Merchandise auction and crowning of the queen on Friday. Saturday’s activities include the parade of sale cattle, awards to county fair Simmental winners and the 37th annual MSA sale. Very large crowd was on hand for the sale and the weekend was filled with great fellowship and great cattle.

Triple C Farms - ASA/AJSA Foundation Donation Heifer

Triple C Farms was the donator of an exceptional heifer calf for the ASA/AJSA Foundation, which commanded a price of $10,000. The consortium of breeders from Wisconsin and Arkansas purchased this female and their names will be added to the distinguished list of ASA Foundation contributors. It is said that people come into your lives for a reason- some leave quickly and some stay a life time. For all of us involved in the ASA, we have had the great fortune to have a couple come into our lives and stay. The guidance and direction from Peter and Ila Courtney is priceless and a gift that we all carry with us throughout our lives.
