Dear Simmental Enthusiast,

 

As you know, the Simmental breed has come a long way and has so much to offer the cattleman- docility, milking and maternal abilities, growth, and desirable carcass traits just to name a few.  It is an exciting time to be a part of this breed!  We would like to invite you to take the next step and become a part of the Minnesota State Simmental Association.  Being a member of a state association comes with many benefits.  The first and foremost is being a part of a great group of fellow Simmental breeders who are enthusiastic about the breed and its promotion.    

 

The Minnesota Simmental Association is a vibrant and diverse organization comprised of Purebred and SimAngus operations focused on the show ring to commercial cattlemen.  Our members all have one thing in common- the love of good cattle and passing that passion down to the next generation.   Being a member of the MSA provides many opportunities to encourage and invest in the next generation of Simmental enthusiasts by sponsoring many junior shows such as the AJSA National and North Central Regional Classics or by becoming a mentor through the MN Youth Beef Experience Program (MYBEP).

 

The Minnesota Simmental Association hosts three main networking events a year: the Summer Field Day in June, the MSA sponsored meal after the MN State Fair Open Show, and State Sale weekend (annual association sale, meeting, and banquet) held in November.  A good time is had by all at these events!
